Assistance is provided to public and private clients in connection with:General project identification and structuring, including preliminary assessment of needs and targets, general landscape at destination (political economy; legal, regulatory and institutional framework, potential constraints to private investment and solutions to allow for investment), financing needs and potential partners, risks and liabilities, and strategic planning.Sectoral assessment and transaction structuring: review of sectoral landscape in various sectors (with a significant experience in infrastructure: power - including renewables - transport, water and urban development) so as to identify general and specific opportunities and constraints to private investments; legal, policy and institutional frameworks and reform needed; identification of opportunities and establishment of priorities, specific transaction due diligence and (legal, regulatory and institutional frameworks; review of sectoral opportunities and constraints/risks to investment; project design, including on legal vehicles to be used, institutions to be involved, contractual arrangements, corporate governance and relationship to the State); State-Owned Enterprises and utility restructuring and privatization: identification of role and prospects of SOEs in various sectors, identification of reforms needed (corporatization, commercialization, settlement of debt, social/labor issues, governance and relationship to the State); private sector participation (partial sale of assets, spin-off, lease or management contracts, etc.); including under schemes (or role under such schemes, as off-taker, competitor, etc).Research and economic intelligence.
