ABOUT GILL HARDY

An experienced global talent expert with a background in marketing and public relations, I\'m fortunate to combine the things I love best: working with incredible talent in an ever-evolving industry. I started my career with Unilever in marketing and later joined Hill + Knowlton (now Burson), rising to Managing Director, and growing new-to-market offers in the health space while running large teams. This convinced me that talent was the direction I wanted to focus on and in 2005 I co-founded an executive search firm, having never so much as sniffed at an executive search mandate before! Pivoting, before it became a thing, we used our knowledge, community and expertise to help people build sustainable careers. Over ten years, McKenzie Finn gained an enviable reputation as clients\' best kept secret!I re-joined WPP, a client of my business, and work in global talent at the heart of the organisation. Acting as partners to our leaders within the WPP network, the team is dedicated to identifying, tracking, landing and retaining top executive talent worldwide. I have a particular interest in the advancement of female leaders and helped to establish and now run WPP’s community for women, Stella. I also lead training and public speaking forums and am often asked to speak at, or chair, industry events.For three years, I was a Trustee of a new, national health charity during a dynamic start-up period.
