ABOUT GILI RON
Gili Ron is a research associate and a doctoral candidate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) Stuttgart Universität and the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS). She is a co-founder and creative of “Project: Galath3a”; editor and contributor for UTOPIA Digital Magazine. Her research interests focus on human-robot collaboration (HRC) and machine learning, from a techno-feminist approach. Ron holds a Bachelor in Architecture from the Azrieli School of Architecture, Tel-Aviv University (TAU) and a Master in Architecture from the Emergent Technologies and Design Master Programme, The Architectural Association, London (EmTech, AA). Ron co-founded Good Night NGO, fighting sexual harassment in Israeli nightlife. She is the winner of the Walking Man Prize for Urban Activism (2016), the New Israeli Fund’s Dror Prize for Social Change (honorary mention, 2016), and IntCDC \"Blue Sky\" Grant (2022).
