Giles Armstrong is among the UK\'s most experienced writers for video games.Giles has worked in the games industry since 2007, with contributions to more than 50 titles in various capacities, writing for blockbuster productions, award-winning indie games, and immersive virtual reality projects.Giles is the Narrative Director for Wushu Studios, who worked in partnership with Rebellion on \'Sniper Elite: Resistance\', the UK’s best-selling game for the week of its release.In recent years, Giles was a Senior Scriptwriter on multiple recent titles in the Assassin\'s Creed series, including \'Assassin’s Creed Shadows\' developed by Ubisoft Quebec,\'Assassin\'s Creed Mirage\' developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, and \'Assassin\'s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök\' developed by Ubisoft Sofia.His many previous projects include being part of the Nebula Award-nominated writing team behind the critically-acclaimed \'Horizon Forbidden West\', made by the BAFTA-winning Guerrilla Games; working on the multi-award-winning \'Marvel\'s Guardians of the Galaxy\' developed by Eidos-Montréal, the BAFTA-winning \'My Child Lebensborn\', the TIGA award-winning \'Velocity 2X\', and being the Lead Writer on \'The Spectrum Retreat\'- for which Giles received a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards nomination for ‘Best Writing in a Video Game’.
