Specialising in Linux/UNIX/Windows, Virtualisation, and associated secure enterprise infrastructure; I am a highly respected, confident and self-motivated professional with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. I possess a potent and relevant combination of technical, professional and leadership skills which have consistently achieved benefit for the organisations I have worked with. My broad technical background in enterprise IT infrastructure enables me to deliver effective, innovative solutions design, high quality integration, successful implementation & test with comprehensive training, troubleshooting, and support. I have predominantly worked with large scale enterprise and environments requiring high levels of security. I have specialised in Linux/UNIX, Virtualisation and Security; working with the technologies that underpin today’s hybrid cloud infrastructure for a range of organisations in Government, Health, Defence, Finance, Transport, Industry and Gaming sectors. My strong problem solving and analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication skills and proven ability to learn, enable me to work well under my own initiative, lead, mentor and work as part of a team. Wider experience includes: various flavours of Linux/UNIX and Windows, AWS, Cloud Native tools, HP Proliant servers, blades and storage, systems management and monitoring, messaging, telephony, CRM systems, application and database products. I also have experience in training, team leading and project management. Technical qualifications included RHCE and ITIL.
