Gilbert Medina posses a unique and effective set of professional skills, is bilingual, fluent in reading and writing both Spanish and English. With a background in music performance/production and Information Technology, he took an opportunity early in his career to work in customer service, sales and marketing in the action sports industry. After 6 rewarding years in that industry, with the change of the state of the economy Gilbert looked at his professional origins for his current career. He was previously the operations manager for the Audio Visual Systems Services department for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a room luxury resort and casino. Gilbert has a background in computer networking, structured cabling, computer systems support, and low voltage systems installation and integration. He currently also works in sales, design engineering for an A/V Systems integrator in the Las Vegas area, as well as being contracted as an audio engineer for music venues throughout the west coast. Over the last 5 years Gilbert has specialized in A/V systems for the hospitality, house of worship, higher-education and enterprise industries. Gilbert has a passion for customer service, teamwork, efficiency and overall quality production. He strives to learn as much as he can about the subject matter he works on as well as continuing to learn new technologies to stay relevant and to provide top tier work and service for his employers and clients.
