tl;dr — Leverage many years of experience wearing all sorts of different hats at some great startups, big tech @Adobe,@Samsung Ads, and as a 3x founder, to drive product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams — building a brand and community, focused on empowering creators and IPs, through our interconnected physical and digital products.Longer story:Startup and big tech operator across engineering, product/project management, marketing, sales, operations, AdTech at Adobe, TubeMogul (startup hypergrowth —> IPO —> acquired by Adobe), web2/2.5/3 startups (2x founder), and at an urban forestry organization. Really learned startup life as an early employee at TubeMogul, as the company and business scaled globally incredibly fast — self-serve SaaS DSP AdTech platform, directly in-house with brands like L’Oreal, Barclays, 3M, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, Allstate, and the largest advertising agencies like Publicis, Ogilvy, Dentsu, WPP, and Omnicom. Personally drove 10s of millions of dollars of ad spend per quarter for them, while blowing their performance KPIs out of the water.After acquisition, joined product at Adobe, building out and driving the roadmap for their Facebook and Snapchat product, with a dedicated engineering team — unfortunately had to sunset the product after the Facebook Cambridge Analytica scandal shut down our advanced API features, thus killing our value proposition for advertisers. Moved into an engineer leadership role, managing a global eng team of nine spread out across multiple US offices, Canada, Australia, London, and India. We kept the lights on by ensuring that each release was issue free, and utilized the massive amount of big data we collected and queried from larger data sets to ensure minimal downtime — data that we would also leverage to drive product improvements for a better user experience.Founded a product engineering as a service company where I hired and was in the trenches with some amazing colleagues — later pivoting with some of them, starting another company together.Personal interests include gaming, outdoorsy stuff with my wife and dog, horror movies, smack-to-the-face entrepreneurship, snowboarding, and Oxford commas.
