   I am an Industrial Design Team Lead managing a team of 3 Creative Lead Industrial Designers and 13 Industrial Designers. Here, I will acclimate myself to the technical aspects of being a good ID manager, share my years of experience to help the team navigate corporate structure, find multiple perspectives for reviewing/evaluating design success and grow talent in a positive and nurturing environment that fosters good talent to be great. I now have formal class training (10 classes so far since 2015) and direct daily practice using design management processes and hands on challenges with associates/project teams. In addition, I am incubating and refining newly designed development tools for my team. And lastly, learning what it takes to making great design studio recruiting choices that have a longer lasting effect than simply finding ID talent.
