About M Gilbert

Graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, and a minor in robotics and autonomous systems with research distinction honors. In college I\'ve had the benefit of working a number of mechanical design, prototyping, and testing projects. Concurrently doing research to develop a soft compliant actuator. While maintaining an internship with DriveOhio focused on city and regional connected and autonomous vehicles infrastructure testing and demonstrations.Since Graduation, I\'ve gone to work in industry with RTX as a design engineer working on a vast array of problems design problems collaborating with design and integration personnel for prototype builds and even some risk reduction testing for tooling groups and now in advanced technologies. Most notably successfully performing lead test engineer responsibilities for a critical program milestone test effort. Remaining focused on broadening knowledge basis and learning I\'ve taken a number of unique tasks proactive in learning and understanding new systems and components. In 2026, I am concurrently pursuing an educational opportunity to finish my academic journey pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering degree with a concentration in robotics.
