About Giffin Daughtridge
Giffin Daughtridge, MD, MBA, MPA is the Vice President of Marketing for the Molecular Lab Franchise at Roche. Giffin was the cofounder and CEO of Ursure Inc, which developed novel lab and point of care tests to measure and improve adherence to preventative and therapeutic medications for HIV. UrSure won the Harvard Business School’s New Venture Competition, the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, and received millions of dollars in grant funding from the NIH and private investment. Giffin led UrSure’s acquisition by OraSure Technologies, Inc.[NASDAQ:OSUR] in 2020, where he was promoted to lead OraSure’s global marketing team for its infectious disease diagnostics products. After OraSure, Giffin joined LumiraDx where he held a number of key strategic and commercial leadership positions. LumiraDx was acquired by Roche in July 2024. Giffin has also been a Fulbright Research Scholar to Bogotá, Colombia, a Zuckerman Fellow in the Harvard Center for Public Leadership, was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for healthcare in 2019 and has worked at McKinsey & Company and the Federal Government\'s Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He is currently a board member at Premier Biotech, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners.
