ABOUT GIAVANNA SAMMONS
I am a senior at Ohio University studying Business Marketing with a minor in advertising & public relations and analytics and an international business and a social media certificate. I am from Athens, Ohio, and have lived here my whole life. I took on the role of Vice President of Communications in Delta Gamma Fraternity last spring 2022, and I am now in the role of Director of Social Events. I am in my third year in Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and last spring 2023 I was chosen to be on Emerging Leaders Executive board as Vice President of Recruitment. I am currently working in the sales department for The Post and in the business services office at the College of Business. I also have a role as a social media intern for University Rentals. I am passionate about my family, traveling, learning, and achieving my goals. I am told by others that I am very organized and accountable. Last summer 2022, I finished an exciting trip with Ohio University’s Global Consulting Program in Ancona, Italy. This year, I spent my summer traveling and backpacking all around Europe for 8 weeks, visiting 12 different countries!
