ABOUT GIANPAOLO SCAIANO

I was born in a small town in Basilicata, in southern Italy, and left at the age of 18 to pursue my passion for engineering. I had the honour of being part of the legendary “Skunks” team that contributed to the design of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio—an experience that shaped my early career. In 2017, I moved to the UK to join Jaguar Land Rover. Since then, I’ve devoted myself to delivering products that exceed customer expectations, driven by dedication, pride, and the support of an exceptional team.Today, I lead a talented group of Integration Engineers, CAE Engineers, and Product Owners responsible for the design and validation of thermal systems across Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. Our mission is to deliver the most efficient Vehicle Level thermal management systems and controls, with a modular approach, that meet the brands\' performance and NVH attributes being compatible with each program packaging, weight and cost targets. We are guided by the JLR Creators’ Code, working with unity, integrity, and a commitment to growth and impact. Together, we strive to become the proud creators of the world’s most desirable modern luxury brands, tailored for the most discerning clients.
