Building control systems that survive the real world.My work combines control theory, embedded software, and vehicle dynamics. Currently, I design and deploy real-time estimation and controls algorithms at Tesla.Before moving to California, I spent my career in European high-performance automotive. I led Torque Vectoring for the Bugatti Tourbillon and developed the damper control systems for the Lamborghini Revuelto (the subject of my PhD). Having worked for both legacy European OEMs and Silicon Valley, I\'ve seen how different risk tolerances and development cycles fundamentally change how we write code.I think simplicity is a technical requirement, not a compromise.A control strategy is only as good as it is understandable. During my PhD and while teaching Fundamentals of Controls, I got good at breaking down high-level theory into functional, modular components. I apply the same logic to production code: breaking complex algorithms into simpler steps that are easier to test, calibrate, and scale. If a system is too hard to explain, it\'s probably too fragile to deploy.What I spend my time on- Moving fast without breaking things that shouldn\'t be broken- Bridging the gap between elegant math and the messy reality of chassis systems- Designing, coding, and testing controls that work in production
