   I apply engineering knowledge to inspect HVAC and hot water, lighting, and building envelope systems. Construct full energy models of buildings and interpret results to determine if the building can qualify for the 179D tax deduction. Perform full reviews of projects to determine that they meet all qualifications and work was performed correctly.I work on hundreds of projects in which I inspect the buildings for energy efficient features, either HVAC and hot water, lighting, or building envelope systems. This information is analyzed and explained to our modeling team to ensure they fully understand the systems served by the building and can model it effectively and efficiently. For each of these projects, I review the energy model constructed in either energy plus or eQuest software to ensure all inputs are correct, proper engineering judgments are made, and the model is accurate and complete based on the information collected with inspecting the building and it\'s documents. I have extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting construction documents, understanding mechanical and electrical systems, and expertise in codes such as ASHRAE 90.1 are used in each project.
