ABOUT GIADA TASSO

Key responsibilities: define, drive and implement the corporate long-term business development strategy of the group, through the identification/scouting, evaluation and creation of commercial partnerships, co-development/licensing agreements, transactions on portfolio/pipeline assets, acquisition/transfer of products/brands, Joint Venture and M&A. The role refers to corporate transactions and only a small portion of the job is devoted to local single-country deals - Scouting of new opportunities: direct contacts with potential partners, meeting and contacts with external consultants (mainly investment banks and brokers), participation to partnering event and investor bank’s conferences (J.P. Morgan, Jefferies…) and desk work- Developing and maintaining relationships with potential targets from initial stage to deal closing- Project leadership and management of all new opportunities- Direct presentation to Alfasigma board member and shareholder meetings for approval and updated on new potential investments- Detailed project analysis in collaboration with R&D and Corporate Marketing teams (data assessment, development risk, market potential, product sales, marketing investments…)- Involvement and management of affiliate feedbacks - Coordination and implementation of Due Diligence (all company departments) for potential transaction- Preparation of the project financial model and identification of the most suitable deal/transaction structure- Negotiation of agreements with the support of Alfasigma internal Legal Department- Support to Alfasigma affiliates in local opportunities (co-marketing, co-promotion, co-branding, brand transfers, acquisitions)
