ABOUT GIACOMO DACHILLE
MBA at Bologna Business School, electrical engineer degree at Politecnico di Bari, I\'m now managing SunGAP a renewable energy advisor supporting main energy operators to recover the “GAP” of energy production from fossil fuels in favor of renewables. With more than 20 years of experience as electrical engineer, I started my career as designer of electrical systems, then site manager, project manager and later operations manager in process plants, industrial sites, airports, electric utilities and renewable energy. In Netplan, a management consultant firm, I was in charge of energy department, focusing on renewable energy sector, supporting operators and investors to turnaround challenged facilities, enhance margins and letting asset value emerge. Prior to join Netplan, I was in charge of restructuring the generation portfolio of GSF (145 MW of PV power plants, mostly trackers). Before GSF, I was a project manager at 9REN where I supervised projects management procurement and construction worth €120M investment. Previously, I was involved as low/high voltage electrical system designer and later site supervision/safety management of Taranto Airport construction.
