ABOUT GIACOMO GALBUSERA

Working on Sumnote: a SaaS Company based in Toronto, ON.Over the past decade, I have co-built and led entrepreneurial projects in digital strategy and search engine optimization, spanning early-stage initiatives and more structured organizations operating at scale.In my earlier projects, I worked in close collaboration with software developers, contributing to product definition and overseeing the development of both consumer-facing applications and internal management systems.I started my first company while studying at university, and over the years I have learned the importance of focus, method, and intentional decision-making, discontinuing initiatives that were no longer coherent with long-term direction, even when that required renouncing immediate gains.Much of what I’ve learned comes from a number of outstanding individuals I’ve been fortunate enough to be in close contact with - as mentors, colleagues, and friends - who shaped how I think through example, rather than instruction.Over time, I’ve come to treat entrepreneurship as a form of discipline instead of self-assertion: one that demands rigor, patience, and facing the consequences of decisions.This has led me to approach strategy and execution as a learning process - actively placing growing importance on deeper analysis and disciplined choices, while embracing that what really matters is recognizing how much there is still to learn.
