ABOUT GHYSLAIN BERGER

I am a purpose-driven business leader with a track record of building strong teams, driving organizational alignment, and leading companies through transformation and growth.As CEO of Midwich North America, I oversee Midwich US and SFM, two leading value-added distributors in the professional Audio-Visual industry and part of the Midwich Group, a publicly listed, UK-based global AV distribution organization. My focus is on shaping strategy, fostering collaboration across regions, and ensuring operational excellence while adapting to the evolving needs of our customers, partners, and industry.My career has been built at the intersection of finance, operations, and leadership. Prior to being named CEO, I served as President of SFM and previously as COO & EVP, where I led operations, finance, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthened agility and resilience. I believe sustainable success comes from combining a solid financial foundation with empowered teams and a clear, shared vision.Beyond my role at Midwich North America, I contribute to the broader business community as a course facilitator at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). I am also the recipient of the 2020 CPA Emergence Award and was a finalist for the 2022 Executive Leader of the Year award.I am a CPA Auditor, CA, and hold several degrees from HEC Montréal, along with executive education from Stanford GSB. I am passionate about creating environments where people can do their best work, forging long-term partnerships, and guiding organizations to both perform and transform.
