About Sohini Ghosh
I am an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience, specializing in full-custom Radiation Hardened CMOS circuit design, PMIC architecture, and mixed-signal system development, currently completing my MS (Research) in Microelectronics & VLSI at IIT Kharagpur. I have worked alongside ISRO scientists for project deliverables and the collaborated work has been published where I had the opportunity to contribute as the first author. I am actively looking for full-time opportunities where I can contribute to high-impact semiconductor design teams.My research focuses on radiation-hardened mixed-signal and power management ICs, where I have designed and verified complete analog building blocks in TSMC 65nm and 180nm technologies— including OTAs, voltage/current references, VCOs, switched-capacitor circuits, wide-device drivers, high-density capacitors, and digital control logic. I led the architecture, transistor-level design, simulation, and full-custom layout of a robust Radiation-Hardened Switched-Capacitor DC-DC Converter, incorporating common-centroid layout, latch-up mitigation, and custom pad-ring planning, targeting actual silicon fabrication.I have deep hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre simulations, Calibre DRC/LVS/PEX, PVT and corner analysis, device-level transient analysis, and complete mixed-signal chip flows from concept to tapeout. My work also included single-event effect modeling, enabling the design of circuits that remain robust under extreme radiation environments—valuable for aerospace, defense, and mission-critical IC applications.Beyond technical design, I bring strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. As a Teaching Assistant for an NPTEL Analog Electronics course with 4500+ students, I developed assignments, reviewed exams, and mentored learners across India. My prior industry role at Accenture, where I received an Excellency Award, strengthened my ability to work with global stakeholders and deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments.I’m passionate about building advanced semiconductor systems and I\'m eager to join a team where I can contribute to impactful silicon design.
