About Gary Heller
I specialize in demystifying and minimizing the stress associated with the college preparation and admissions process by taking a pragmatic and sensitive approach to finding the best college fit for each student. Among other things, this includes delving into the student\'s abilities, interests, personality traits, goals, and concerns; positioning each for admission to his or her top choice colleges; and reducing the cost by as much as 50% or more. As a long-time practicing attorney, I came to realize that my ability to listen, to understand people\'s concerns and how they make decisions, and to help them manage difficult and stressful circumstances are remarkably well-suited to guiding students and their families through a college preparation and admissions process that should be one of wonder and excitement and not of constant pressure and anxiety. Understanding this process and helping students reach their goals has long been a passion of mine, as is my focus on helping reduce the cost of a college education by tens of thousands of dollars, even for those who are not \"straight A\" students and even for families who think that they make too much money to qualify for financial aid.
