Dr. Ghazwan Hassna is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics, the Program Chair of Business Analytics at the College of Business, and the Chair of the University Faculty Senate and Assembly of Hawaii Pacific University. Before joining this position, Dr. Hassna was conducting his research at both EPIC LAB (Enterprise Process Innovation and Computing) and GCIF Lab (Global Center for Internet Finance) at the City University of Hong Kong (AACSB & EQUIS), where he received his Ph.D.Before joining academia, Dr. Hassna had more than 6 years of experience in formulating, planning, and managing large-scale IT-enabled change initiatives. He worked in different geographies and for/with different prestigious international and governmental organizations, including Dubai The Model Center, the Prime Ministry of Syria, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the European Commission, to name a few.Dr. Hassna\'s multinational and cosmopolitan approach has been developed and polished through extensive contact with international organizations and personnel and through overseas education and work in more than 14 countries across 4 continents, including the United States of America, Hong Kong SAR, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Malta, Bahrain, Netherlands, Serbia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Oman.While serving as a faculty member and program chair at Hawaii Pacific University, Dr. Hassna is still invited as a guest speaker and an international consultant by several organizations and entities worldwide.
