Design, configure, provision, test, maintain, troubleshoot and document Automatic Location Identification (ALI) products/services and related monitoring/reporting on Windows and Linux Platforms to support Comtech’s ALI and Next Generation E9-1-1 services, in addition to providing operational expertise to Product Development in the above areas. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Troubleshoot service impairments and maintain accurate documentation of related trouble tickets • Responsible for supporting hosted and in-network ALI products and services • Design, install, configure and support high availability ALI applications (five 9’s) for E9-1-1 and NextGen E9-1-1 call routing and delivery systems • Configure and maintain Automatic Location Information application systems on Windows and Linux platforms • Develop scripts to automate tasks and generation of reports in SQLServer • Backup and restore databases, troubleshoot database maintenance plans, replication and perform schema updates as part of software upgrades • Serve as an expert for ALI applications and delivery/display of location information related to E9-1-1 calls to PSAPs • Support integration test activities with external carriers/customers, vendors and PSAPs • Implement and maintain systems that provide master street address guide (MSAG) address lookup • Document system configurations, design and operational procedures • Other duties as assigned
