ABOUT GHAITH KHALAF
I graduated from Carleton University with a M.A.Sc. in Mechanical engineering. My research area was focused on the integration of heat pump water heaters in Canadian residential homes. The study was introduced to evaluate the effect of the heat pump cycle on space heating and cooling loads, using an experimentally obtained heat pump performance map and a computer model. My involvement in the HVAC industry led me to work as a designer for Regulvar Canada Inc, where I worked on many complicated projects such as the DND Carling Campus in Ottawa. These challenging projects helped me establish a strong sense of controls design and theory. My passion and love for design has resulted in significant self learning and personal development, allowing me to get closer to becoming a prominent figure in the HVAC industry.
