Strong educational background with MS in Construction Engineering and Management from the American University in Cairo and PhD in Civil Engineering (Construction emphasis) from Iowa State University. Research expertise in construction contracts and procurement, project delivery methods, risk management, project performance, and legal and social aspects of projects, especially on infrastructure projects. Educator and trainer on the academic and industry side in project management, construction contracts, procurement, scheduling, estimating, and risk management. Demonstrated work record as an author on national reports, journals, and conferences, a national committee and research panel member, journal/conference technical papers reviewer, and a handling editor.
