I have spent the last 18 years crafting intuitive, delightful user experiences as both a UX leader and as an individual contributor. I have had the pleasure of working for companies like Amazon, PayPal, and others. I have been involved in academia, teaching in the Master of Interaction Design program at Veritas University. I also founded and ran my own business, ExpatBuddy, for 5 years.As a lifelong learner, I have earned a triple major for my Bachelor\'s, 3 Master\'s degrees, 3 academic certificates, and 5 professional certifications. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Business Science Institute, with my dissertation focusing on measuring the ROI of UX.While I am originally from Costa Rica, the US opened its doors to me and has become my second home. I love geeking out about UX, trying new foods, and traveling. During my runs I will be listening to audiobooks about entrepreneurship, psychology, and personal development.Most important of all, I am very happily married to the light of my life.
