ABOUT GUISELLE H.
A champion for equal access to healthcare especially in under represented communities of color. Healthcare is a complex system to navigate despite your socio economic status; my mission is to help guide people through those roads via education, compassion and strategic thinking. As a first generation Mexican American Latina I witness my mother, the primary caretaker of my two disabled brothers, navigate some of the many challenges that are presented when accessing care all on her own. Between Spanish to English translation barriers to big health insurance terms like deductibles, copays, high deductible vs HMO, I work with leaders who are also passionate about bridging the gap to healthcare for their employees allowing them to show up fully in their day to day environments.
