Mechanical Certification and Risk engineer for Fire Suppression Systems - Automatic sprinkler systems, components, pipework, pumps and drivers, hose reels, dry & wet risers, hydrants, valves, couplings, portable & mobile fire extinguishers, fire blankets, fixed fire extinguishing systems- Conducting detailed technical evaluations from initial enquiry to production of final audit report and approval recommendation- Ensuring the client manufactured fire suppression components have been designed and manufactured to industry standards and meet all relevant approvals- Ensuring compliance with the LPCB schemes Construction Products Regulation (CPR), Marine Equipment Directive (MED) and Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED)- Liaison with internal departments, customers, approval agencies and accreditation bodies- Working closely with relevant colleagues to ensure tasks are prioritised and delivered in accordance with senior management direction- Preparing, reviewing and closing audit reports- Preparing analysis and trend data from FPC audit findings- Supporting clients to gain compliance as needed- Engagement with clients and service providers to support the effective resolution of approval process issues and queries.
