After being 20+ years in the software and data engineering space, it has become clear that the business intelligence field has large gaps in data delivery and untapped opportunities. Data projects can become expensive quick but should not be. Using a proper agile framework, cross functional teams, great tools at low cost with AWS/Azure as your cloud provider can move mountains.My specialty lays in the ability to deliver this promise from data acquisition thru python and airflow, data pipelines in Nifi on top of AWS S3 data lake stack, and visualization thru Microsoft SSAS/Synapsis with DAX and PowerBI.One of my main focuses is to create a CI CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipe-line from the beginning. Bringing your code to production should not be an after thought as this would cause disruptions in agile product delivery. To create a CI CD pipeline, tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS Cloudwatch with PowerBI dashboard plays an important role.
