Upon graduating with an MBA and Juris Doctor in Law (JD) from the University of California, Gerry began his career as a specialized startup and technology lawyer at the preeminent Silicon Valley firm, Venture Law Group, which was renowned for incorporating such well known startups including PayPal, Hotmail and Yahoo. Since that time he has become a Silicon Valley angel investor and has more than a decade of \"big firm\" experience including in the Emerging Companies Group at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe (a firm which represented companies such as Facebook). During his career he has focused exclusively on starting, financing and selling private companies in his role as a corporate attorney, investor and entrepreneur himself.
