I am a Chief Transformation Officer at Blu North, the consulting arm of 1Path, a company that helps clients secure their data and grow their business. With over 20 years of experience in IT, I have worked in various roles and industries in Ireland, the UK, Canada, and the USA, specializing in security and infrastructure transformations. My mission is to help clients figure out where they are, advise on where they want to be, create the plan to get there, and provide the leadership and guidance along the way. I have led projects such as moving a large law office to the cloud, building a private cloud for SaaS and PaaS services, and implementing policies and procedures to meet compliance standards. I have a strong engineering background with a BSc Computer Applications from Dublin City University and certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, CCNP, and EMCPA. I have skills in leadership, management, security assessments for PCI DSS, HIPAA, CMMC, NIST, SOC2, FINRA and SEC. Technical skills include Windows Server, virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V, Azure, cloud with Azure and o365Office 365, storage with EMC, HPE, Nimble and Pure, and networking with Cisco, HPE, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortinet and IAM with RSA, Duo, OneLogin, Azure.
