ABOUT GERRY DOHERTY
I am an experienced Executive Director with 30 years housing experience and 20 years working at the highest levels with Boards, the regulator, and other key stakeholders. I am currently the Executive Director of Operations for Sovereign Network Group (formerly Network Homes) which owns and manages approximately homes in London and the South East of England. I have previously been the Executive Director of Asset Management at SNG and also Chief Executive and previously Director of Asset Management at Brent Housing Partnership.I have a strong passion for improving the quality of life and customer experiences of tenants and leaseholders. I am a respected strategic leader who engages and develops organisations to improve performance through influence and personal commitment to ensuring customers get the best service. I have extensive experience of the Regulator of Housing Consumer Standards and have been through an In depth Inspection from the regulator on two occasions during the last five years at Network Homes. In my role as Executive Director of Customer Services I have made significant contribution to Network achieving Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for and Networks Homes most recent staff satisfaction survey rating of approximately 90% of staff feeling proud to work for Network Homes. I am very experienced in leading transformation of services within tight timescales and limited resources. I was an integral part of Networks executive management team leading NH’s Culture Change programme delivering programmes involving Mary Gober and a “Be Brilliant” programme in conjunction with Michael Heppell.In 20••••14 I worked on a consultancy basis to reorganise Hammersmith and Fulham councils Asset Management Team and launch a new partnering contract with MITIE Property Services. I have also been the lead director responsible for H&S at Network Homes and in the last five years NH has achieved all the highest awards achievable for H&S management e.g, British Safety Council Gold Award, Sword of Honour and ROSPA Gold Award. I am currently responsible for several significant budgets e.g, operations income approx. £147 million, Capital Expenditure approx. £22million, Operational Expenditure approximately £77million. I am responsible for all Data quality for all NH IT systems used for customer facing responsibilities and have been the Project Sponsor for Transformation Programmes for Networks CRM system (CHUB) and Networks compliance system, Innovation Apex.
