About Gerron Jordan
Anchor by title. Reporter at heart. Producer in mind. Gerron is an EMMY and regional Murrow award-winning television journalist with more than a decade of reporting and anchoring experience in small, medium and large markets across the Gulf south and Midwest. Currently, he anchors 12 News This Morning; the top-rated morning newscast at WISN-TV, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also anchors 12 News at 11 weekdays and is co-host of UPFRONT, a weekly politics and public affairs program that airs on Sundays across the state of Wisconsin. Gerron is also devoted to helping mentor the next generation of communicators. He teaches digital storytelling at Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication. He’s also worked as an adjunct instructor at Louisiana State University\'s Manship School of Mass Communication where he taught media writing, advanced broadcast and the journalism capstone courses. Gerron is a tangible news anchor who excels in breaking news, social media engagement and has the ability to reach viewers through the screen.
