About German Martinez
I’ve had the privilege to work on behalf of NYRR’s for 20 years. Throughout my tenure I have been fortunate to work with great leaders and role models that taught me the importance of integrity and dedication, and I have applied that to my every day life. By working with humility and perseverance, and maintaining the right attitude even in the most difficult times, I have earned the respect of the people I supervise as well as the ones who supervise me.I have been involved at a leadership level in many exciting events, programs and special projects through the years, including the inception of the Youth Jamborees, the Track and Field Series, the Times Square Youth Run, the Boardwalk Run and the launch of Mighty Milers, among many others. All these NYRR initiatives, along with my ongoing education, have given me the tools necessary to become a youth sports professional and a leader in the industry.
