Responsable for safe guarding life, property, and classified information. Respond and contain crisis or urgent situations including accidents; man-made, biological, chemical, radiological, natural disasters, or other incidents that could result in harm to people, property, or environment. Control multiple entry points to buildings and property in order to grant proper entry and access to personnel with proper documentation. Conduct searches of vehicles, personnel, and property to detect contraband, threatening individuals, and violations of law or policy. When required, make independent decisions regarding the use of deadly force, operate active vehicle barriers and alert appropriate officials of an apparent security violation.
