ABOUT GERHARD A.
I lead Bayer’s Value Chain Partnership & BayGAP programs, focusing on collaboration with all stakeholders along the food, feed, fuel value chains from farm to fork. My team’s goal is to contribute to a more equitable, environmentally sustainable, and climate positive food system. Bayer’s Food Chain Partnership program is currently active in more than 300 initiatives across 44 countries worldwide. The BayG.A.P. service program is an integral part of our Food Chain Partnerships supporting especially smallholder farmers worldwide to get trained, certified, and connected to the food value chain. It is an important contribution to promoting good agricultural practices around the world, benefiting farmers, food chain partners, and consumers.
