ABOUT GERGELY PALADI-KOVACS
For the last 30 years I’ve held several senior HR leadership roles in FTSE 10 and Fortune 200 companies across the FMCG, Telecom, Real Estate, FinTech and Financial Services sectors. I thrive in multinational complex global organisations, having lived and worked in Hungary, Greece, The Netherlands and the UK. All whilst leading diverse international teams.I have effectively worked at all corporate levels from local markets to regional hubs to global centres, where I have been fortunate to contribute to most areas across HR whether leading HR Business Partnering teams, HR Centres of Expertise, HR Operations Service Delivery, or large-scale Transformation & Change Programmes.I am passionate about driving change and none of my roles have been about managing business as usual. Whether consolidating an HR function across 3 countries, launching a culture change programme to re-energise the workforce, establishing a new regional function & capability in HR, or driving a large re-organisation.One of my strengths is in creating structure and order in challenging environments, often navigating unchartered territory. Being comfortable in translating strategic initiatives into well-defined plans and processes, establishing and managing complex programmes, and providing pragmatic solutions and clear direction to the teams I lead.I am proud of the teams I have been lucky to work with, measuring success in the teams\' collective achievements and my ability to support their growth whilst leaving strong successors behind. I believe positive relationships are key to effective collaboration and forging strong partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.Making connections is my natural way of working. Moving comfortably from thinking strategically to zooming in a detailed plan, bringing people together or bridging the gap between their viewpoints, analysing and finding patterns, and connecting the dots.I’m fluent in English and Hungarian and speak a little German and Greek too.
