Erick is a FinTech executive and advisor currently assisting Marqeta in implementing its strategic plan. Erick has served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Director at Green Dot Bank, as well as Chief Audit Executive for Green Dot Corporation, where he fostered strategic partnerships with Apple, Walmart, Uber, Intuit and many more, to bring innovative financial services and products to small businesses and consumers. Erick is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and started his career at Deloitte, spent time in Capital Markets at Bank of America (formerly Countrywide), assisted with AeroVironment’s (AVAV) Initial Public Offering, and significantly contributed to Green Dot’s success for more than 12 years as it transformed and matured from a private to a public company, and became a highly respected and regulated FinTech banking institution.
