ABOUT GERDA TROLLIP
Gerda Trollip, a Senior Simulation Engineer at MOSIMTEC, is a Professional Industrial Engineer with practical experience in mining, metals, mineral processing, bulk material handling, rail logistics and manufacturing operations. Since 2009, she has been specializing in designing and developing discrete event simulation models used in all phases of capital expenditure projects, as well as operational and business improvement projects. This includes applying state of the art simulation modeling tools and techniques to analyze production environments, identifying, and analyzing system constraints, recommending alternative solutions, and consulting during the deployment thereof. Gerda has spent a considerable part of her career working at a sizable mine site and has experience working at a large consulting engineering firm as well. She earned both a B.Eng Industrial Engineering degree and a B.Eng (Hons) Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, graduating with distinction. She is a licensed professional engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
