ABOUT GERARD SANDERS

I am a DevOps and Delivery Manager for Integration Services and Data Engineering. I have been with CMGt for nearly 10 implementing data and integration services for digital products, advertising, and business services. I have developed and managed the development of integration projects through the full life cycle as well as interacted with our business stakeholders on projects to foster trust and confidence. I take the time to understand the business of my customers and that helps me design, manage and deliver reliable solutions for our stakeholders.I place a high priority on providing robust data-sharing architecture according to the 12-factor methodology and SOLID principles. The majority of my years of experience has been in.net solutions and Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS for ETL, and XSLT for data mapping. However over the past 3 years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience and training using Node.js, Python, JSON, and NoSQL databases, and the AWS platform to accomplish the same things. I also have a thorough understanding of Blockchain / Distributed Ledger ecosystems on the Ethereum Network and IBM\'s Hyperledger.My skills include BizTalk.net, MSSQL, VSCode, C#, JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, CosmoDB, TypeScript, Python, PyCharm, AWS CDK, AWS CLI, AWS-SDK (S3, Athena, Glue, Workflow, IAM, API Gateway, SNS, SQS) AWS Step Functions, Lake Foundation, Control Tower, Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, HyperLedger and Ethereum-based blockchain development.
