About Gerardo Caprario

I am a U.S. Navy veteran with over two decades of multi-phase remediation project management experience on New Jersey, New York, and Federal environmental projects, from project planning through construction phases to project closeout. I have extensive experience managing and coordinating on- and off-site logistics for solid and hazardous waste disposal, including subcontractor direction and oversight. My experience has given me the opportunity to develop keen insights into client-side economics, i.e. the ability to evaluate the technical feasibility of the scope before putting a shovel into the ground.I have worked on the following types of environmental projects- MGP investigations and remediation, including ISS and ISCO- ISRA real estate transactions- Permitting- Private developer due diligence- Phase I and II investigations- Large scale remediation projects- Indoor air quality projects, and - UST removals/closures sized from 250 gallon to closure of gallon tanks in place. In addition, I have extensive experience with CERCLA projects that require the development of conceptual site models to develop remediation strategies and timelines, including financial estimates and long term forecasting. I am also involved with integrating green and sustainable practices into environmental projects of all sizes.My goal is to help clients navigate the opportunities available for reducing their site\'s footprint without reducing their bottom line during remedial action scoping and implementation. I am able to achieve this by supporting the integration of sustainability into both environmental project work and internal business practices.Specialties: My specialties include both NJDEP and CERCLA small and large scale environmental investigations and remediation, solid and hazardous waste disposal logistics, transitioning sites between clients or regulatory programs, navigating sustainability benchmarks, and developing implementable remediation strategies.Select projects highlighting my experience are presented below.
