As a irrigation system designer in south america my job duties included: using agronomic problem solving skills, including knowledge of applications such as GPS/GIS/RTK tracking and guidance systems; irrigation design and evaluation; farm development and implementation and integrating farm design. During my career I was also responsible for soil studies; irrigation design using software including Autocad, Irricad, Irrimaker - Model Maker; drainage system design; management; consulting and soil rehabilitation focused on integral farm solution.• During my role of Agronomy Senior Research Associate – Agronomy Manager in DuPont Pioneer in Hawaii I lead a portion of the daily operations of the agronomy team at the Waimea Hawaii Research Center. This position was accountable for soil conservation plan, land planning, soil preparation/field destruction, animal protection (netting), Irrigation & fertigation, machine maintenance and mechanical field detasseling. • As a Field Agronomist in Dow AgroSciences I lead the daily operations of the Parent Seed/Hybrid production Team at the DAS Kauai site. This position served as a resource to the production in Kauai in a designated area for seed corn production which includes: grower contracting and management (acreage planning, quality control, seasonal staffing, etc.) data collection and reporting, and development and establishment of best management practices - BMP.• As part of my current role in Dow AgroSciences; Kauai Field Research Station Leader R&D I have provided leadership to the Kauai station and ensuring excellence in implementing counter season support and R&D projects assigned to Kauai. I’m responsible for the administrative management of the Kauai Field Station. As a member of our Hawaii Management group, I provide visible leadership for Environmental Health & Safety (EH & S), people development, facility capacity development and drive budget success.
