My name is Gerardo Ramirez-Perez. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, with a Bachelors in Business Administration in Economics. Now after graduation I am working as a Credit Analyst II at Sovereign Bank, where I used to intern before. I believe that my college achievements allowed me to prosper and make me the best candidate for my current position.In the Fall of 2021, I was accepted into the highly coveted and prestigious JCPenney Leadership Program which focuses on developing and strengthening business, networking, and leadership skills. Previously, I was an ambassador with the Union Programming Board for three years. This organization focuses on bringing diverse and inclusive events to campus. This has allowed me to co-host events with various organizations that help bring awareness to foreign cultures, LGBTQ+, and mental health. Campus involvement has been a priority during my time at OU as I believe that you get out what you get in. Which is why I joined First Fidelity\'s Integrated Business Core at OU. A program that empowers students to pitch company and product ideas to our fellow classmates and bankers in order to secure talent and funding. I joined Sooner Swig as an Accounting Advisor, wherein I helped create a company prepared financial statements and projections, wrote contracts, and helped generate $19M in sales, allowing our company to turn a profit and donate half of it to local charities.
