The role is instrumental to the design and operational implementation of the roll out of SMART Metering for npower\'s internal metering service provision in line with the government mandate and requires a very specialised and detailed understanding of the gas industry processes and interactions.This role interfaces into the key strategic programmes related to the implementation of SMART Metering, ensuring that the correct requirements and designs are implemented.Working cross functionally with change professionals from various programmes, Energy Services and Customer Services - sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve a common goal.The role works with the Service Planning Manager and operational teams to ensure that industry change is evaluated and impact assessed. Also, taking the lead on continuous improvement exercises to enhance operational quality or productivity.
