Managed five Beautiful Blocks program cycles in the City of Scranton, and oversaw expansion of the program to the City of Carbondale in 2021, managing three program cycles. Oversaw a combined in grant funding awarded to more than 500 individual home improvement projects in both communities, matched by more than $1 million in funds from participating residents. Currently overseeing expansion of Beautiful Blocks to the City of Pittston for 2024- Served as staff lead for Community Leadership Institute (CLI) teams, including teams of residents in Scranton (virtual CLI, 2021) and Archbald (in-person in Charlotte, NC, 2022). Subsequently oversaw group projects, including Mobile Toolkit (2021) and Gather Archbald skill-sharing series (2022)- Manages Mobile Toolkit program, a trailer-based collection of tools and equipment available for free use by community groups in completing vacant lot cleanups, tree plantings, park improvement projects, and other neighborhood improvement projects- Serves on multiple agency committees and task forces, including Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) work group, and Strategy and Impact Project cohort- Assists with implementation of the NWNEPA West Scranton Revitalization Plan, including leading the housing working group and conducting survey efforts- Represents agency on multiple NeighborWorks America peer-to-peer learning initiatives and training sessions- Serves as part of a team to combat blight through the Lackawanna County Land Bank and Blight Task Force- Works with NWNEPA President & CEO, Board of Directors, and staff to cultivate, manage, and steward relationships with prospective funders.
