About Gerard Glynn
Before retiring Gerry Glynn represented children and families as a lawyer for over twenty years and then was an executive at Embrace Families, a large child welfare organization in Orlando. In his work at Embrace Families, he shepherded many successful innovations focused on improving outcomes for children. He has been involved with many non-profits serving on numerous boards of directors. In this role, he has lead numerous organizations through strategic planning processes and provided guidance to leadership on fundraising, risk management and policy development. He has also led major reforms in several law school skills programs. Since retiring, he is dedicating his time on serving people from poorer communities internationally primarily in Belize and the mountains of the Dominican Republic.
