ABOUT GERALD I KORNREICH

Gerald \"Jerry\" Kornreich is Florida Bar Board Certified in Marital and Family Law.He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.His practice includes all aspects of family law.Mr. Kornreich has received numerous awards from The Florida Bar,the Dade County Bar Association, the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Woman Lawyers and The First Family Law American Inn of Court, including the Tobias Simon Award, the highest pro bono award in the state of Florida presented by the Florida Supreme Court, the Judge Richard Feder Award for Professionalism, the Dade County Bar Association Richard Milstein Award of Excellence, the Ray Pearson Guardian ad Litem Award, the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers Judge Theodore Klein Award for his work on behalf of woman and children, and The Florida Bar \"Sand beneathYour Feet\" Professionalism Award.In May 2014, he received the prestigious \"W\" Award from the YWCA for assisting womenand children in crisis.Mr. Kornreich is a former President of The First Family Law American Inn of Court, served on The Eleventh Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for four (4) years and was also elected Chair of the Commission.He was honored to serve as Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Commission on the Legal Needs of Children for three (3) years.
