About Gerald Barnett
When I was in school taking courses in math, physics, programming, history, literature, and critical theory, I told people that I was training for a profession that didn\'t exist yet. I guess that turned out to be university technology transfer. For twenty years, I have built IP management programs, developed new licensing strategies, and designed IP training programs. I advise companies and universities on IP management and research contracting. Recently, I spent two years teaching a university course in business writing and ethics-as close as I could get to teaching professional writing and innovation. I write about innovation and policy issues at Research Enterprise http://researchenterprise.org
