   Lead Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to Program Manager Intelligence Systems and Secu-rity Operations (PMICO) for the Distributed Common Ground System-Marine Corp (DCGS-MC) system to produce geospatial intelligence products through the processing, exploitation, and analysis of data derived from all Marine Corps organic intelligence sources, nontraditional/battlefield observa-tion/collection of joint, multi‑national (coalition/allied) partners in support of Marine Corps operations, and tailored theater and national systems. Responsibilities includes: Developed and maintained information systems security policies and procedures for the De-partment of Defense (DoD) in compliance with federal guidelines and regulations, including NIST, FIPS, and RMF. Conducted ongoing risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and weaknesses in DoD systems and applications in accordance with NIST, FedRAMP, FIPS, and RMF. Coordinated with program offices and acquisition teams to ensure compliance with security requirements during system engineering and acquisitions processes. Managed and enforced the implementation of security controls and mitigation strategies to protect DoD systems from cyber-attacks and unauthorized access.
