About Gerald Ullman

Dr. Ullman is currently a Senior Principal Engineer at Kittelson LLC, providing expert witness and engineering services nationally. He is a nationally-recognized expert in work zone safety and mobility management and control. While with his previous employment with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, he was a principal investigator or key researcher on over 100 different national, state, local, and private-sector studies pertaining to work zone safety and operations, transportation management for incidents and major emergencies, and freeway operations and management. Dr. Ullman has also taught NHI courses on advanced work zone management design and on freeway traffic operations across the U.S. and has conducted work zone training for highway professionals and students in both Qatar and China.
