Hello,My name is Gerald Lester, and I am Penn State University Alumni. I graduated Cum Laude with a B.S in Chemical Engineering in May 2022. During undergrad, I was involved in research in a biomaterials focused group at Penn State, as well as a renewable energy focused group at the University of Iowa. From June 2022-February 2023, I completed my first 8-month rotation in Messer America\'s Graduate Development Program in Bridgewater, NJ. In this rotation I worked as a Process Engineer in the Conceptual Design team for the North American Project Execution Team. From February 2023-October 2023, I worked as an Application Sales Engineer for the Metals industry based out of Cleveland, OH. Beginning in October 2023, I embarked on my last 8-month rotation as a Production/Project Engineer in Beaverton, OR. Following my successful completion of Messer America\'s Graduate Development Program, I accepted a landing role as a Zone Production Supervisor in the Pacific Northwest, supervising a nitrogen generator plant in Beaverton, OR and two air separation units in Vancouver, WA. Some of my interests in chemical engineering include energy, gases, petroleum, cryogenics, pharmaceuticals, engineering design, process design.
